About us

 

We are a ‘Good’ setting as recognised by OFSTED in 2015. They report ‘happy children thrive in the welcoming and homely environment’.

 

We are very proud of the standards we achieve and of our reputation for inclusive practice.

Children are given many opportunities to experiment and to explore in a safe, secure and fun environment.

 

We continue to work hard to improve and are currently completing the Community Champion award and working with Early Years nutrition partnership to provide healthy and balanced meals and to identify new ways to develop the quality of our care even further.

 

The setting is situated within the grounds of Yorkswood Primary School, serving children and families in the local community and surrounding areas.

The ethos of the setting is based on a safe and caring environment where every child will feel valued and positive about themselves so that they will feel happy and motivated by the learning opportunities and gain maximum benefits from their time with us.

Our opening times are from 8am to 6pm.
