Star of the Week - 18th September 2023

Theme INCLUSION 

Ash Class- Year 1 Miss Mannion 

Daniels

Daniels is a joy to have in Ash class. He is an excellent role model to the other children. He is kind and supportive of other members of the class. He has impressed me with his manners and always uses kind words. His behaviour is also excellent too! Keep up the great work Daniels, well done! 

 

Fir Class- Year 1 Miss Smith 

Joey

Joey is a kind and hardworking member of Fir class, he is growing in confidence and enjoys working with other children. He is very supportive of his friends and he is a good listener. Keep up the fantastic effort Joey, well done! 

 

Elm Class – Year 2 Mrs Fazal 

Harrison

Harrison is a kind and caring member of Elm class. He has been a supportive friend to a new member of Elm class. Harrison has made sure that our new class member has been looked after and he has made him feel so welcomed. Well done Harrison!  

 

Oak class – Year 2 Miss Stonehouse 

Moiz

Moiz is a friendly and caring member of the Oak Class. He is kind to all his classmates and enjoys supporting and working alongside his friends in class. Keep up the great work Moiz, you are an excellent role model to your friends! 

 

Juniper Class Year 3 Mrs Moss 

Danny

Danny is a helpful and kind member of the Juniper class. Danny is always willing to lend a helping hand to his peers and teachers and it has been great to see Danny supporting others especially during our maths anchor tasks. Danny has settled in well to year 3 and I have enjoyed getting to know him more over the last couple of weeks. He has been trying hard in every area of the curriculum and I am sure this will continue. Keep it up Danny! 

 

Hazel Class – Year 3 Miss Shanley 

Isabelle

Isabelle is a kind and helpful member of hazel class she is always willing to help others and is a great friend to everyone. She is a fantastic role model and she has settled well into year 3 and always gives 100% 

 

Alder Class – Year 4 Miss Keane 

Atreus

Atreus has had a fantastic start to Year 4 but one thing that has really made Atreus stand out this week is his kindness and friendship towards others in the class. He is so considerate of others and is always there to help someone who is finding a task tricky. This week he helped his friend to complete their work and then said ‘I knew they could do it’. He is a fantastic member of our class and I really hope that all members of our class will follow in his footsteps. Well done Atreus.  

 

Aspen class – Year 4 Miss Grant 

Savanna Hasson

Savanna is consistently kind to everyone. She is happy and enthusiastic to share her ideas for learning with me and with the whole class too. This helps everyone learn. I’m especially impressed that she can work happily with any talk partner and is always willing to listen and support them too. Savanna is a lovely member of our class community. Well done!  

 

Maple Class – Year 5 Mrs Unitt 

Ameila

Ameila is a kind and caring member of Maples. She stands by the class door every morning to make sure everyone is ok when they come inside. We all know how tough it can be having six weeks off and having to return to school. Amelia has helped some of her friends settle back into school life, with a smile. She is also a real help around the classroom, and I look forward to spending the rest of the year with her. 

 

Hawthorns Class - Year 5 – Mr Dallow  

Nazli

Nazli is an extremely kind and compassionate individual who is well-liked amongst her peers and treats everyone with kindness and courtesy. She is able to work well with anyone in class and is a fantastic role model for how we should treat each other both inside and outside of school. Well done, Nazli.  

 

Beech class – Year 6 Mr Hales 

Connor

Connor is an amazing young man and I feel privileged to have him in my class this year. Whenever I see Connor, he has a smile on his face and he exudes a positive attitude. He is such a lovely lad who conducts himself in a calm and thoughtful manner, going out of his way to make sure that everyone is he works or socialises with is happy and able to complete their tasks. Keep smiling Connor, I think you are going to have a fabulous year. 

  

Birch Class – Year 6 Mrs Webb 

Joshua

Joshua is a fantastic lad and he always arrives at school each day with a smile on his face. If anybody is feeling sad or anxious, Josh will make sure that he is a good friend to them and include them in whatever he is doing. He works well in a group because he is excellent at compromising and he is also a good listener. I am really looking forward to getting to know him more this year. What a fabulous start to Year 6 Josh!
