2022 review!

Year 6 3 x 3 Basketball Success

Exciting news, our Year 6 Basket Ball Team went to Smith's Wood Secondary School on Thursday 17th February for a 3 x 3 competition against all our local schools.

I am so pleased and proud to annouce our boys, won the competition. We will now go on to represent North Solihul in the level 3 School Games competition against all the best teams from Coventry, Warwickshire and Solihull.

Congratulations boys.

At Yorkswood we pride ourselves on the competitive experiences our children can access. Over the last three years, we have been awarded the prestigious School Games Gold kite mark for our continuous efforts.

Last academic year 2018/19, we had 100% attendance in our School Games events and finished in a fantastic third position in the North of the Borough.

We aim to invite as many children as possible to attend the events.

We pride ourselves on our inclusive events and one of our teams won School Games Gold at the Level 3 Boccia district competition.
